Easy Pork Tonkatsu

Ingredients

•4 Plain crumbed Australian pork schnitzels (see tips)

•Tonkatsu sauce, for drizzling (see tips)
To serve

•Steamed rice

•Finely shredded cabbage

•Sliced green onions

•Halved grape tomatoes
Method

1.Line a baking tray with baking paper. Place tray in the oven. Preheat oven to 220°C/200°C fan-forced.

2.Place schnitzels onto the preheated tray. Cook for 16-18 minutes, turning halfway through cooking, until golden brown and cooked through. Remove from oven and rest for 1 minute.

3.Slice schnitzels and arrange on rice in shallow serving plates. Drizzle schnitzels with tonkatsu sauce. Serve with shredded cabbage, green onions and grape tomatoes.

Tips:Tonkatsu sauce is a Japanese sauce that is served with fried foods. It tastes like barbecue sauce and is available in the Asian food section in supermarkets.
